Red Illumination of Buddha Statue and TSCS Building

As a mark of solidarity and awareness for Thalassemia, the iconic Buddha Statue and the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society building were illuminated in red color. The illumination symbolized support for individuals living with Thalassemia and helped draw public attention towards the importance of awareness, prevention, and care for the disorder.

Through these programs, the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society successfully created widespread awareness on Thalassemia prevention, early screening, patient care, and the importance of voluntary blood donation and community participation in supporting affected children and families. The active participation of Government officials, doctors, healthcare workers, students, corporate organizations, voluntary blood donation camp organizers, NGOs/societies, well-wishers, and Thalassemia warriors along with their parents made the initiatives highly impactful and significant. Their collective involvement reflected a strong commitment towards building a healthier and more informed society dedicated to the prevention and management of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell disorders.
