On the occasion of World Aids Day, rally was organized by TSACS in partnership with Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society and others on 1st December 2019, theme is “Communities – Makes the difference”.
Our Blood Bank was awarded as the Best Performer – for organizing 100% voluntary blood donation camp during the year 2019. Award was presented by Shri Etela Rajender garu, Health Minister, Government of Telangana to TSCS Blood Bank. TSCS Stall was setup at Ravindra Bharati and participated actively by Board Members and Staff in the programme.
An event was organized by Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited for Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia patients to celebrate children’s day on 24th November, 2019 at Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society. Dancing, Singing, Elocution and Games competitions were conducted to motivate the children to show their hidden talents and to make them feel that they are no less than normal children. Children participated in the competitions with great enthusiasm and pomp. Coloring competition was conducted for tiny tots who filled the drawings with beautiful colors. The event was a grand success and thanks to Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited for organizing the event.
Milad Committee, Hyderabad supported TSCS to conduct blood donation camps at Central Library, Afzalgunj and Balamrai, Secunderabad on occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi on 10th November 2019. Dr K Laxman, BJP state president and Board Members and VIPs of Milad Committee visited the camp. Thanks to Milad Committee and Mr Aleem Baig, Jt Secreatary, TSCS for successful organisation of blood donation camp. We also thank Lions Club of Jeedimetla and HDFC Bank for their support in oraganising this camp. Blood collected during this camp is being used for Thalassemia patients.

You have helped to Extend lives by giving us 291 unites of blood today for our thalassemic kids for every 20 to 25 days this patients require blood tranfusion. We highly appreciate your contribution.
