Mr Chandrakant Agarwal was awarded H.D. Shourie Memorial National Award at the ‘Har Ghar Raktdata’ a national CME workshop on voluntary blood donation, which was held at the National Institute of Biologicals, Noida, and Federation of Blood Donor Organisations of India.

On the 31st day of July 2021 Saturday, a memorable day in the history of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society when FREE HPLC testing was carried out for extended family members of Thalassemia patients to know the carrier status of thalassemia and sickle cell anemia at Kurnool town. This would help us in preventing the occurrence of the condition in future generations by proper genetic counseling. This is a stepping stone in achieving our goal of Thalassemia Free Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by creating awareness and initiating prevention programs.
Visit of Shri S. Venkata Rao Ji, Collector of Mahbubnagar District visited Kamala Hospital and Research Centre and learned about the various projects run by the institution. Appreciated dedicated free services to Thalassemia patients under one roof.
