For children and young people living with thalassemia and sickle cell disease, life often involves regular treatment, hospital visits and challenges that can overshadow the simple joys of childhood. The Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS), Hyderabad, facilitates the connection between its patients and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping eligible patients share their dreams and supporting the wish-fulfilment process. Make-A-Wish then works to turn those wishes into reality, bringing moments of happiness, confidence and hope to our warriors.
Through this ongoing initiative, our Thalassemia and Sickle Cell warriors are given an opportunity to dream beyond their illness—to experience happiness, confidence and the feeling that their wishes matter. Make-A-Wish helps turn those personal dreams into memorable experiences and meaningful gifts.
From Everyday Joys to Big Dreams
The wishes of our patients are as unique as their personalities. Some dream of something that can bring everyday happiness, while others imagine themselves in inspiring professions and roles of responsibility.

A Continuing Journey of Wishes
The partnership with Make-A-Wish is not a one-time activity. The Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS), Hyderabad, facilitates this initiative for its patients on a regular basis, helping identify and coordinate eligible wishes. Once every quarter, wishes of our patients are supported and fulfilled, creating repeated moments of joy throughout the year. Each fulfilled wish is a reminder that our warriors are seen not only as patients, but as children and young people with dreams, talents and ambitions.
