Every year, around 15,000 people in India are diagnosed with Thalessmia. It is a genetic blood disorder and affected patients depend on regular blood transfusion for survival, usually every 2 to 3 weeks. In these uncertain times of quarantine due to the ongoing pandemic, the Thalessmia and Sickle Cell society is in need of funds to keep providing transfusions to children and adults. I, Abhinav Kalhan, pledge to raise 70,000 INR for Thalessmia and sickle cell society of Hyderabad and I request your help to make this a successful campaign. To make it challenging for me, I am setting a personal fitness goal where I will be doing fifty pushups or more per day for the 30 days.

Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS) appreciates Mr Abhinav Kalhan’s initiation to generate funds for Thalassemia affected children through his fitness challenge(50 push-ups per day for 30 days)
The funds raised through his selfless efforts will be used for the management of Thalassemia children during their blood transfusion
TSCS gives free consultation, counselling, blood, blood transfusion facilities and food to around 30-35 patients daily. The funds will be used for purchasing consumables (vein flown, syringes, cotton, bandage and disinfectant) and some medicine during the process of transfusion for one month
TSCS is thankful for his contribution and wishes him success for his future endeavours for further challenges that he takes to serve the needy.
