The first child gets discharged post-BMT at the new Bangalore transplant center. Hidden behind these masks are many smiles. The ones which cover up for all the challenges and struggles that have been overcome. Glad to see the team prepare itself to resume the journey of cure.
Sangi Harini becomes the first child to be transplanted at Bangalore center after more than a year of pausing activity. The child was undertaking treatment at Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society(TSCS), Hyderabad. With an unwavering determination of Team TSCS to enable cure for each child, several months of effort by both teams have paid off. The new center at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital – BMJH has been made possible thanks to the immense support from DKMS Germany. The journey of cure that we started with Cure2Children Foundation has another milestone. We wish the little one good health and well-being. Cheers! for each one who worked and contributed towards making this possible. The journey to give life a better chance gathers more steam.
